This is an immensely vast, mystifying country, with so much to see and do. The sheer size of the Great Wall and Tiananmen Square, the dazzling lights of Hong Kong and Shanghai, the majestic peaks around Guilin, tigers, pandas, terracotta armies, river cruises… the opportunities are endless. Many people decide to participate in an extended tour of China as there are so many places to explore.
In a ‘past life’ Emma lived in northern China in the city of Changchun. It was rather nippy with temperatures dipping to a cool minus thirty degrees. Once the semester teaching at the University was over she toured China, travelling mainly by train. If you have any questions about this monumental country please do get in touch.
